Austinist Interview / Fat Caddy Strikes Back
Yesterday morning the Austinist posted a nice label profile on Beats Broke. As the press often love to do, they highlighted a bit of self-created controversy between Beats Broke and fellow Austin label Fat Caddy Records.
This morning, I discover that Jon over at Fat Caddy (seen above practicing his Kung-Fu skills) rammed some more coal into the engine of the PR train by creating a Scottie Pippen t-shirt (again, to catch you up to speed, I claimed Fat Caddy to be “the Scottie Pippen to our Michael Jordan”). The t-shirt is limited to only 36 prints, and you can pick one up for only $15. Touché!
Jon didn’t just stop there, as he landed a hit below the belt by calling me a “skinny-hipster-ass“. Looks like Fat Catty Caddy strikes again. HEYO!
When will this online “rivelry” of self-promotion end? Only time can tell. How will it end? Hopefully in a public makeout session, à la 50 Cent and The Game. I’ll bring the Blistex.

Is Max going to make a song about this?
